First in a series: Writing about Feelings!

Sometimes it’s tricky enough figuring out what we’re thinking and feeling. So how do we know what’s going through the minds and hearts of our characters? In this one-hour workshop, we’ll explore empathy—experiencing what someone else feels—in order to understand how to give real thoughts and feelings to the characters in our stories. Time in the workshop will include reading examples, tips and tricks, and a sharing period where participants will enjoy the opportunity to give and receive feedback on the scene they write based on a creative exercise given during the session.
